We are thrilled to introduce The BARN at COTTONWOOD, the latest addition to the array of amenities available at Siegel’s Cottonwood Farm off Weber Rd. It has been more than 30 years since a genuine Amish Barn was constructed in Will County. Our barn was handcrafted by skilled Pennsylvania Amish artisans, without the use of power tools or modern conveniences. We envisioned creating a venue as unique as the events that will take place here, and we eagerly look forward to being part of your plans.

The History of Our Farm

 Early Years

For more than 100 years and four generations, Siegel’s Cottonwood Farm in Lockport, IL has been the place where memories are created. Not just by the Siegel family, but also by families and individuals across the region.

Frank and Gertrude Siegel moved to this farm in 1909 to raise their family of seven children – five boys and two girls – who would establish the legacy of Siegel farming.

 Growing The Farm

Currently, The Farm remains an operational establishment managed by Paul and Sue Siegel, who are the third generation, alongside their daughter Kaity, representing the fourth generation. As the times evolved and the demand for The Farm as a venue for family entertainment, corporate gatherings, and fundraisers increased, the Siegels transitioned from livestock to family-friendly attractions. They now offer Grandma’s famous pies and boasted one of the most thrilling haunted houses in the country, which has since closed to enhance family-oriented activities on the farm. Today, it stands as one of the most sought-after wedding & event venues in Illinois.
